Bespoke Commissions

I have always wanted to work with people, helping them overcome difficulties and challenges in life and finding a path that serves them. I wasn’t sure how I could fit this in with my jewellery making, but a bespoke commission creating a new piece of jewellery from something owned by a client’s mother inspired my bespoke jewellery business. Here was an opportunity to help someone overcome the grief of losing a loved one, by honouring their memory with something beautiful and very personal.

My bespoke service is an integral part of what I do, I love the challenge of making something personal and meaningful. I work closely with every client paying close attention to their reasons for the commission and how they want to commemorate or remember a loved on, using an existing piece or creating something from scratch.

My Inspiration

I have three core ranges of original fine jewellery; my inspiration is taken from my time spent in the countryside and by the coast. I love Derbyshire and will soon be moving to Buxton so I can escape to the Peaks whenever I can. I find joy in spotting the tiniest detail during walks and exploration – a tiny twig sprouting in the spring or a shell on a beach have all found their way into a piece.

Jewellery has become a source of great joy in my life I find I can focus my energies in my work and lose myself in the creative process. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than translating my inspiration into something that resonates with someone that gives them joy.
